Translated as Our Lady of Mystical Rose, a series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary appeared before Pierina Gilli in Montichiari, Italy in 1947. She advocated a new Marian Order, promising to protect them if they prayed to repent their sins. Three colored roses are often associated with Her, white for purity or prayer, gold for royalty or conversion, and red for suffering or sacrifice.
