Made with rhodium-plated or gold-plated hand-wrapped wire bangles and Sterling Silver or 14kt Gold-Filled charm-size (1/2 x 1/4 inch) patron saint medals.Also known as Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, Edith was a child from a Jewish family. She converted to Catholicism when she realized her lack of faith in Judaism. Following her baptism, she began teaching at a Catholic school, but was forced to quit in 1933 due to Nazi government Laws. In 1938 her and her sister, also a Catholic convert, were sent to a Carmelite monastery in the Netherlands. Both were arrested in 1942 by the Nazis and died in the concentration camp at Auschwitz.
