Made with rhodium-plated or gold-plated hand-wrapped wire bangles and Sterling Silver or 14kt Gold-Filled charm-size (1/2 x 1/4 inch) patron saint medals.Saint Germaine was ignored and mistreated by her father and step-family, often fed leftovers, beaten, and forced to sleep in the barn. One winter, her stepmother accused her of stealing bread, but when Germaine showed her apron, summer flowers fell from it. She was then seen as a holy woman and was invited to live in the house, but she refused and continued living as she had while being abused. She was found deceased on her straw bed in her home at the age of 22.
