Made with rhodium-plated or gold-plated hand-wrapped wire bangles and Sterling Silver or 14kt Gold-Filled charm-size (1/2 x 1/4 inch) patron saint medals.Mary was convinced of her religious purpose after witnessing the suffering of the poor and wanting to help them. Needing to operate without restrictions, she founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity, specializing with suffering children. Her Order spread to other Italian cities and led to the foundation of the Sons of Charity with priest Francesco Luzzi, and also the Daughters of Charity.
