Mother Teresa is recognized throughout the World for her work among the poorest of the poor and for being a messenger of God's Love. An Albanian Roman Catholic, a Sister and a Missionary, she founded the Missionaries Of Charity. Once a high school teacher, she taught to the poor children of Calcutta, India, and later gained a following for her generosity and compassion. Mother Teresa continued working and teaching until her death in 1997.
