Also known as Margeret the Virgin or Margaret of Antioch, she was the daughter of a Pagan father, but converted to Chrisitanity through her nurse and adopted by her when she was disowned. When a Roman governer planned to marry her, she refused to break her virginity and was imprisoned. Sentenced to burn, she came out untouched and was released before she was beheaded.
