Therese became religious at a young age, joining a Carmelite Convent in Lisieux at the age of 15. She spent most of her life secluded after the death of her parents, overcoming many obstacles throughout her life. Suffering from many illnesses, she died at the age of 24 from tuberculosis. Therese is known as the 'Little Flower of Jesus'
